Choosing or switching accountants.
Choosing a bookkeeper is a decision for years to come. Compare what is included in the price, how quickly you get answers and whether you are tied to a contract. Here you will find the questions you will want to ask beforehand.
In short
A bookkeeper processes your records and takes care of your VAT returns, annual accounts and tax return. For a freelancer, this usually costs €50 to €150 a month in 2026, and for a BV €150 to €250. You can switch at any time, even halfway through the year.
